Alice Walker won the Pulitzer Prize and the American Book Award for her novel The Color Purple. She is also the author of Possessing the Secret of Joy, By the Light of My Father’s Smile, and many other poems, essays, and short stories. Alice joins Sandy in the studio to read from her new book and talk about how she sees the world.
